bible study | lesson 7 | water baptism & communion

The topics for this lesson deal with two sacraments that Jesus gave to the church.  All believers are called to be baptized as a testimony of their faith in Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:19-20).  In like manner, Paul in 1 Cor. 11:23-26 tells us that Jesus instituted communion as one way believers can continually remember the sacrifice made for them upon Calvary and also look forward to the Lord’s return.

Ready to Go!

Let’s pray that God will reveal more of himself to us through this Bible study.  Jesus said in John 5:39 that if we search the Scriptures, we will learn of Him, for they bear witness of Him.
